Monett Main Street was formed in 2012. Our mission is to promote downtown Monett as the heart of the city, encouraging the development, revitalization, preservation, and beautification of the historic downtown district.
The vision of Monett Main Street is a thriving downtown that offers a variety of business, educational and recreational services with opportunities for entertainment designed to entice people to live and work here.
Our purpose is to revitalize and preserve historic downtown Monett, developing a thriving area for businesses, events and social gatherings designed to unify our community, celebrating the past and embracing the future.
About Us
Monett Main Street is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization. Our board of directors has 13 members and 5 independent committees to support the work. We have a full time Executive Director who oversees numerous collaborative and volunteer opportunities.
